Salomon Cappadocia Ultra-Trail: An Event That Transforms Natural Heritage into Economic Value

Now in its 12th year, the Salomon Cappadocia Ultra-Trail is once again set to bring together runners from around the world amid the enchanting valleys of Cappadocia. Title sponsor Salomon reaffirms its commitment to outdoor sports by partnering with Türkiye’s most iconic trail running event.

“Brand Value at the Heart of Nature: Salomon Puts Cappadocia on the Global Running Map”

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Cappadocia’s dreamlike landscape will host hundreds of athletes on 119 km, 63 km, 38 km, and 14 km routes. From Pigeon Valley to Uçhisar Castle, and from Avanos to Ürgüp, runners will embark on a journey that combines physical endurance with an unforgettable nature experience.

Organized by Argeus Travel & Events, the event stands out as one of Türkiye’s strongest examples of nature-based sports tourism. Each year, professional and amateur athletes from over 80 countries participate, turning Cappadocia into a meeting point for the global trail-running community.

Brand Strength and a Vision for Sustainability

Salomon’s title sponsorship goes far beyond a commercial collaboration—it symbolizes the promotion of a sports culture in harmony with nature. The event is also recognized for its eco-conscious practices, including the use of recyclable materials, a strict “leave no trace” principle, and sustainable collaborations with local communities. These values form the foundation of the race’s identity.

The New Hub of Sports Tourism

The Cappadocia Ultra-Trail has become a key event showcasing Türkiye’s sports tourism potential on the international stage. By boosting hotel occupancy rates and revitalizing the local economy, the race transforms Cappadocia into an open-air sports laboratory.

This year’s edition will take place from October 17–19, drawing thousands of spectators. Against Cappadocia’s surreal backdrop, the event promises an atmosphere worthy of a film set—offering an extraordinary experience to both participants and viewers alike.
